ThisSmallPlanet Review: Mikal Cronin Rocks Wreckless Eric's "(I'd Go The) Whole Wide World" Live in Portland!

San Francisco has had a burgeoning psychedelic garage rock scene for the past few years, featuring such standouts as Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, The Sic Alps, and others (who all seem to know and like each other).

Ty Segall's bass player and old pal Mikal Cronin has just released his second solo album and is on a tour to promote the release with an excellent 4-piece band who did a great show last night in North Portland at Mississippi Studios.

For the encore, they played a raucous version of Wreckless Eric's classic "(I'd Go The) Whole Wide World".
